Abstract

Information is offered about a very suggestive group of orchids that, due to their structural characteristics, growth and, especially the way they emit their flowers (which enigmatically seem to emerge from nowhere), have been baptized with the common name of ghost orchids, printing to landscapes an aura of beauty and mystery.
